Profile
I am Janelle Coombe and I am from Tasmania Australia and have always had a heart for children in the poor parts of our world. As a child I wanted to be a missionary but that never came to pass. Instead I became a teacher and spent spare time tutoring children in an orphanage here and sponsoring children with another organisation.
Three years ago I stumbled (Gods guidence-I'm sure) upon Compassion and discovered the wonderful work they do. I have been blessed with several sponsor children and many childen I write to on behalf of Compassion, they are very dear to my heart and I am sure they bless me far more than I could ever could bless them. My dream is to visit my Bolivian children some day, but that is in God's hands and I must be patient and wait for His time.
I work as the Assistant Director and Educational Leader for a child care centre by day and I also am assistant leader for a Venturer Scout group. I have three beautiful grown up children of my own and two grandsons whom I enjoy spending my weekends with. Inbetween these activities I attend St Clements Church and write to my precious children.
